How Many Worms Do I Need?

To safely introduce and maximize a healthy worm count, we recommend buying 1 pound of worms for every 25 cubic feet of soil (or about 1 yard of soil).

Calculate soil volume (Volume for circle) by using the formula that best describes the shape of your garden/grow space.

NOTE: Be sure to maintain the same units throughout all of your measurements and calculations.
